The Punk Rock Bowling & Music Festival (Asbury Park) Announce Club Shows

The Punk Rock Bowling & Music Festival is happening in Asbury Park on from June 10th through June 12th. Today the festival announced some late night club shows to the already awesome 2-day stage shows. Bands like The Bronx, The Falcon, Mephiskapheles, Hub City Stompers, World Inferno Friendship Society, The Virus and Blank 77 will be playing those shows, along with others! All the info is below.

Club shows start on Friday June 10th and run through Saturday June 11th featuring an incredible variety of bands performing for the debut of PRB on the East Coast. “We like to put together cohesive bills where the bands really complement each other and then put it in a very intimate setting to give everyone a completely different experience from the festival stage,” says co-founder Mark Stern.

The bowling tournament will now be a one-day tournament on Saturday, June 11th at 11:30am, at the Bradley Beach Bowl in Asbury Park. The change gives teams who want to join up to win cash prizes, sponsor merchandise, Punk Rock Bowling music festival passes and more an easier way to join in. Bradley Beach Bowl is located at 1217 Main St, Bradley Beach, NJ 07720. The entry fee is $100 dollars per 4 man team ($25 per player includes 3 games, shoes and chance to win!). “We made these changes to our first bowling tournament in New Jersey to make it easier for people to bowl and not have to commit for the whole weekend,” says Stern.

Tickets for all club shows will go on sale Thursday, April 14th at 11:00am and Festival tickets to the Summer Stage at the Stone Pony are still available, but are going fast. You can purchase tickets to both at www.punkrockbowling.com.

Due to overwhelming demand from our East Coast brethren that just can’t make the cross country trek to the City of Sin, we will celebrate our 18th Birthday on both coasts for 2016. The Asbury Park festival will take place by the infamous Asbury Boardwalk at the The Stone Pony Summer Stage from 2pm – 10pm on Sat. June 11 and Sun. June 12.
