Somewhere between grunge and bluesy metal, UK’s Kodiak Jack sound like Danzig and Pearl Jam fighting over the last beer in a Texan roadhouse.

Oddly enough, it’s not that bad. There’s just the right amount of fast riffing and guitar solos to keep it cool, though you and I may have different definitions of “cool.”

Bottom Line: Decent bar rock, if you drink in places where guys still have long hair and wear denim jackets.
