I used to dread reviewing albums from Victory Records, now it seems like Hopeless Records is the label I’m dreading reviewing certain albums.
I do not like the direction they are taking the label and don’t like some of the bands they are picking. There For Tomorrow sounds like every alternative rock/emo band out there. There is nothing different about them and nothing that sticks out either. The singer sounds whiny, and the backing band isn’t that impressive. Thankfully this was only an EP. Any longer than an EP and I might have used a box cutter on my throat.
Bottom Line: Too emo
