For any rabid (casual fans too, I guess), Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog: The Book or your complete collection for behind the scenes shenanigans and glimpses into the minds of the writers and actors that worked on this for free. The sheet music that is included will surely spur impromptu changes to high school drama club schedules all across the country. The collection is jam-packed with photos from the beginning to the end of production and all of the awards ceremonies that followed.

I was impressed with, but should have expected, the high quality that which Dr. Horrible’s book is put together. It’s coffee table/end table/any table size with 160 glossy pages of Joss Whedon glory. All of the creative minds that took part in Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog speak fondly of their memories and seem to genuinely be grateful for having the opportunity to take part in something of it’s kind and that translates over well with their commentaries in the book. They truly look back on the experience with fond memories and the book makes for a wonderful read because of it.

If you’re a fan of Joss Whedon, Neil Patrick Harris, the eternal struggle between dickhead superheroes and emotionally unstable super villain wannabes, then Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog: The Book is the perfect compendium for your collection of likeminded material.
