The trailer for Roland Emmerich’s new movie 2012 hit the web tonight on Yahoo Movies. In the film, the world is being destroyed right in front of our eyes and it centers on a family. 2012 stars John Cusack, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Danny Glover, Thandie Newton and Oliver Platt. Visually, the movie looks pretty cool but I’m pretty sick of the world being destroyed plot. Half the trailer looks like scenes lifted right out of ID4, War of the Worlds, Day After Tomorrow, Deep Impact, Armageddon, and every other disaster movie out there. Roland Emmerich is ripping off Roland Emmerich. Watch the trailer:
