Silverstein embarking on 10 city tour in August

Silverstein and Hopeless Records are excited to announce that the band will be embarking on a 10 city tour in honor of their latest album Short Songs, released February 7th, 2012! Consisting of 22 tracks, the album is composed of 11 brand new original songs as well as 11 covers from punk rock legends such as Green Day, NOFX, Dead Kennedys, Gorilla Biscuits, Descendents and many more!
The appropriately titled “Short Tour” will have Silverstein performing Short Songs in its entirety as well as their most popular songs released during their career. In just little over a week, the band will be playing 10 dates in cities spanning from Pittsburg, Cleveland, Chicago, Detroit, Buffalo, New York City, Philadelphia, Montreal, and Toronto.
The tour will feature support from Such Gold, Lions Lions and Daytrader!
Fans can expect a different live experience from the boys this time around. Going back to their roots, the tour is taking on small, more intimate venues, much like the ones Silverstein began performing in.
“Short Tour will be an opportunity for us to visit some of our favourite cities in North America this summer before we duck away to work on a new album this fall. We will be playing a mix of songs from all of our releases, along with Short Songs in its entirety.
