This is Left Alone’s debut CD and they play mostly punk rock, with some ska songs thrown in there as well. The band has toured with a lot of bands, getting their name out there and I’m sure people will start to hear about Left Alone a lot more now that they have a CD out.
Their music is okay; there are some good songs among the batch. I think their best track was the ska song “Another Feeling.” I think they should stick with the ska because it works for them. The punk songs are good as well, but I think they sound better with the sax. The vocals do get somewhat irritating at times. You can tell who the band’s influences are when listening to these songs. Bands like Op Ivy, Rancid, and The Clash. For a debut album, this is a pretty good CD. My advice, stick with the ska songs fellas.
Bottom Line: For fans of Op Ivy, Rancid and the Clash.
Notable Tracks: Another Feeling, My Whole Life, Would You Stay Now, Dead Red Roses
