Ive seen The Pilfers like 20 times in the last three years, and I was seeing them again. This time was near my school, in Moosic, PA. I had a final so as soon as I was done with that, which took only 5 minutes, we could leave for the show.

My friends and I got there when the first band was on, Folly. I really didnt hear that much about them since I was outside, watching some friends do some graffiti. There was barely anyone inside. The ska scene in Scranton is really sad. No one ever shows up for non-popular bands. They only come support the bands they have heard on the radio or television. I didnt care, two of my favorite bands were playing, being Ednas Goldfish, and The Pilfers. Like I was telling the Brian, the singer from Ednas, that it was like my own personal band party. I still had fun, with only 30 people there. Sgt. Scagnetti canceled due to the fact they heard the club is closing so they canceled. There is a good chance that the club will be closed because of some Hempfest that took place there a couple of weeks ago. Gee, sponsoring a show with an illegal substance its name in the United States? Why wouldnt the cops come and shut it down?

Anyway, Metro Stylee came on. I like some of there songs, but the female vocals get to me after a while. So my friends and I left to go to the convenient mart. We got back and Ednas Goldfish were on. They always rock and get the crowd moving. I wasnt too sure if they could with about 30 people there. But they did. Ednas played a lot of new stuff like Get to You, 1800 Miles to Nowhere, and some stuff I never heard like It Will be You, and Instant Messenger. During that song, Brian made a reference to staying on the computer too long, and pointed my brother and I out. Yeah I know, I spend too much time on this damn computer. Those new songs rocked too. They played some stuff off there album like Im your density, Eventually, Anyway, and some others. Overall, they were awesome as usual.

Next up,The Pilfers! It took them a while to set up because Coolie needed the mic to be just right so he wouldnt lose his voice. When they did, they started it off slow, with One Day, and then when into possibly the longest rendition of Legal Shot. After that they played other great songs like Aqua, Rollercoaster, Yakuza, and Jolly Jolly. It was great because Bryan and I were up front the whole night and we got to sing along with the band the whole night. During Hypnotized, Coolie would chill in the back until he would crack in with CLEAR, CLEAR. Well one time he charged me and pushed with one hand and pushed me into the crowd. I thought it was funny. Coolie said to check out pilfers.com for lyrics since most of them are in Jamaican, then you could understand them. I said But the lyrics are in Jamaican too. Everyone laughed, and he said Dammit, break the code mon. I could never speak Jamaican, so you can do it. I thought that was funny. Well the set wrapped up with Shits up in the Air, and it was a great show, with great bands. I had lots of fun. THE END
